Ability to take client requirements, understand them and turn them into a powerful story told through engaging visuals in Microstrategy or TableauUnderstanding how the full suite of Microstrategy or Tableau products work is essential (embedded, Reporting Services)Confident communicating with stakeholders of all levels including the ability to advise, train and support staff and clients where necessaryStrong data analysis skillsExperience with databases and the big data platform like Impala
Key Responsibilities

Ingesting data from a variety of corporate data sources and performing required transformations in the Microstrategy or Tableau memory cubes or extractsUtilizing effectively the navigation features in Microstrategy or Tableau (e.g. bookmarks, drill-through) to guide readers through a compelling data-driven story.Provide technical support and guidance through prototyping, testing, build, and launch of Microstrategy or Tableau.Data ModellingDeveloping calculations in DAX which are accurate and performant on large datasets.Designing effective layouts using Data Visualisations best practises.Undertaking data analyses to support decision makingDevelop production-ready Reports, Dashboards and deploy to corporate platformDevelop user manual / training documentationWork in Dev-Ops environment for solution delivery Skills
Work in Dev-Ops environment for solution delivery Skills

Experience with Azure could platform, SQL ServerAdvanced Excel Skills beneficialCompetent in developing engaging and effective data visualisationsUp to date knowledge of latest Power BI features and functionalityStrong data analysis skillsProficient in writing SQL
Confident communicating with stakeholders of all levels including the ability to advise, train and support staff and clients where necessary
