THE ROLE
We are hiring Developer into the Global Integration Services engineering team. We are looking for an experienced developer who is passionate about designing, building, and maintaining simple, reliable, and innovative software. The developer will be working on the SAP Business Technology Platform. The developer should have great blend of experience on varied tech stacks (most of the Object Oriented languages). The team will be responsible for building enterprise class extensions that complement the Integration platform on SAP BTP. The extensions will allow us to deliver a state-of-the-art Managed Integration Service connecting SAP products with the client’s business systems.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors/Master’s Degree in Computer Science or any other specialization. 4 to 8 years of total professional experience in developing / designing highly scalable software. Must be familiar with agile process.
Prior experience in developing integration platforms or connectors is an added advantage. Eg: Boomi connectors, Cloud Elements connectors, Salesforce Connectors, and Hosted Custom Connectors, SAP Cloud Integration Suite.
Docker, Kubernetes, cloud foundry (primary)
Hands on coding with technology Java, Spring framework, nodejs, javascript frameworks, UI5 industry standard QA Automation tools
Design and development of scalable applications on (Cloud foundry based) SAP BTP platform
Contribute to major phases of the software development lifecycle – from requirement analysis, design, debugging to testing, maintenance and support/production support.
Deliver high quality and high performance cloud software that enables supporting mission critical business needs and enhance and automate the SDLC for agile production development teams.
Follow established secure software development processes
Understanding of CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model)
Hands on experience on cloud technologies (Cloud Foundry, Kubernetes) and cloud native development hands on with CICD, Git, GitHub, Maven, Jenkins, Gradle
Support and guide test automation initiatives
Technically mentor developers to build skills to deliver high quality software.
Working experience in Agile environment is an added advantage.
