SUMMARY
As SAP Procurement Product Team, our mission is to provide the world’s leading cloud-based spend management solution, unifying the SAP Procurement portfolio across SAP S/4HANA, SAP Ariba Applications & Business Network, and SAP Fieldglass. To strengthen further our team, we are looking for an enthusiastic, free-thinking and self-driven product owner who is keen to collaborate with others and help deliver the futures of Platform frameworks solutions. As a Product Owner, you will join a growing team at the foundation of SAP Procurement product team, where you will collaborate with a wide range of intelligent and dynamic colleagues. The platform frameworks team provides the core platform and frameworks for the SAP procurement solutions. You will gather feedback, balance requirements and ensure that everything necessary for the release is delivered on time.
ROLE
Define, rank, and classify product backlog into innovations, must-haves, enablers, functional requirements (features), and non-functional like test automation together with prioritizationWork closely with Software Architects, Developers and Quality Assurance to translate high-level requirements into User Stories and review their implementationWork closely with Key Stakeholders to define the Product Vision, Roadmap and Release PlanStrong project management skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyse, plan, and disseminate information with attention to detail and accuracyReport and present complete transparency on metricsBe accountable for delivering the new features with high quality and on timeBe the subject matter expert for product capabilities and future plans; inform internal and external teams through email, meetings, conference calls and presentations at technology eventsProvide technical expertise at situations which demand higher level of expertise
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in human–computer interaction, Design, Computer Science, or other relevant fields10+ years of full-stack development experience; designing and building Cloud productsProven expertise as a Product Owner with customer interaction experiencePrior successful collaboration and/or leadership within cross-functional engineering teamsA self-starting, entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to bring out this quality in others.Good understanding of Cloud development and deployment conceptsDevelopment background in building platforms and solutions to applications teams or customers
