Job Description : Who we are looking for
Global Technology Services (GTS) owns the management of a large and complex set of outsourcing arrangements. These arrangements include relationships with third parties as well as internal agreements within and between legal entities and business lines. The IT Vendor Performance and Outsourcing Management team is established within GTS to achieve two objectives:
To provide central oversight and administration of outsourcing activities
To facilitate effective strategic management across IT outsourcing activities
To these ends, the team works closely with relationship leads within the IT delivery and relationship management functions as well as with partners in Global Procurement Services, Third Party Risk Management, Legal and Finance.
IT Vendor Performance and Outsourcing Management team are responsible for leading the team in the effective and efficient execution of its objectives. These responsibilities include establishing a long term vision and roadmap to achieve it; driving consistent, repeatable and well-controlled oversight processes; effectively deploying human capital through both development and acquisition; identifying best practices and tools to drive continuous improvement; and maintaining a relentless focus on improving the customer experience as a key outcome. It is also expected that continuous productivity improvement will be a goal, achieved through a combination of efforts including, but not limited to: low cost locations, process simplification and automation, and strong people management.
The scope of responsibility for this role is global. Within this scope is responsibility for meeting regulatory, jurisdictional, entity and branch requirements in the various locations in which GTS operates.

As Vendor Governance Manager you will- be responsible for
Vendor Performance Management (Third Party Relationships)
Scope of responsibility
Staff Augmentation Relationships – conduct full performance management for all relationships including vendors in specific programs (such as preferred supplier programs or “ITG program”) as well as those outside of such programs
Managed Service Relationships – conduct full performance management for all relationships
Consulting / Professional Services Relationships – provide subject matter expertise as required to assist in set up and management of new relationships
Functional responsibilities
Relationship Management
Support delivery leads and executive management in GTS in their management of vendors at a strategic and tactical level
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders globally
Work with Enterprise Technology Risk, Compliance, Audit and Third Party Risk Management to ensure controls are designed and operating effectively and all requirements are met
Provide support to GTS and vendors for day-to-day operational issues such as contractor performance escalations, compliance failures or conduct infractions
Financial Management
Where feasible, ensure accurate financial management practices—including reporting, invoicing and oversight—are in place and are being adhered to
Facilitate coordinated efforts to manage overall spend with vendors in concert with all relevant stakeholders
Performance Management
Ensure SLA metrics are reported according to the contractual commitments and related service improvement plans are being tracked
Ensure appropriate governance meetings are in place and proactively managed to drive vendor performance
Deploy effective oversight and monitoring of IT Vendor Performance regionally where required
Stakeholder responsibility
Global accountability
Ensure monitoring, oversight and administration is in place globally at an appropriate level of consistency as feasible
Ensure alignment and compliance with any unique requirements in specific jurisdictions, entities or branches
Ensure appropriate representation from global stakeholders in governance forums and management meetings

What we value
These skills will help you succeed in this role with MUST and NICE to have skills
Skills in IT vendor management and service management in a large technology setting required. Prior experience in financial services preferred. Candidate should possess excellent oral and written communications skills with evidence of successfully managing a team responsible for relevant functions. Ability to identify what is needed and find ways to implement positive change with limited oversight. A keen eye for process.
Education & Preferred Qualifications
Degree level qualification in Technology/Business or other relevant subject with overall experience of 14 + Years
In Depth knowledge and experience in Technology outsourced services for financial industry
Minimum of 5-7 years IT Vendor Management / Performance – Service Management
Technology Vendor Management experience within global Financial Services is preferred
Experience managing large scale vendor transitions for technology teams
Knowledge of Outsourced Contracts frameworks and SLA Management including developing and negotiating SLAs
Knowledge of standards and best practices (e.g. COBiT, ITIL)
Developing, implement and execute multi-Vendor improvement programs
Excellent written and spoken communication skills
Team player with strong interpersonal skills
Openly shares knowledge with the team
Additional requirements
Work experience in multiple geographies is an added advantage
Experience managing large transformation programs is a plus
