About the team:
The analytics team comprises passionate problem solvers who share a common vision of enabling decision-making through data-driven strategies.

Role & Responsibilities:

The lead analyst’s primary objective is to work with product, operations and business stakeholders to answer key business questions.
Align the team members, mentoring, guide and ensure the best tools and techniques are instilled.
Focus on building analytical capabilities where required.
Partner with product / operations / business managers and other stakeholders to drive and create the right roadmap and strategies
Work with large ambiguous problem statements and break them down into meaningful problems to solve
Identify right business and product metrics to be analysed and tracked for every feature/problem statement
Constantly monitor and analyse metrics identified, publish insights/any anomalies along with hypothesis
Work with stakeholders to design the right experiments, the right hypotheses and find ways to test them to garner insights
Work with engineering/data platform teams on designing, building, automating and deploying data analysis systems for large data sets and extracting meaningful data for product teams
Recommend and create right algorithms to extract information from large data sets
Drive development of self-serve dashboards & reports on tools like Tableau for empowering various teams with incisive data to make decisions on a day to day basis
Lead a team of 4-5 analysts

Key Skills & Experience:

Expected experience in analytics of digital products / physical product analysis.
Been part of product growth teams
Strong background in Advanced simulation techniques to provide data- driven solutions for complex business problems with 5+years’ solid analytical experience.
Proficiency with analytics and database technologies and tools (SQL/R/Python etc.), data transformation and processing. Work experience with real data for customer insights, business and market analysis will be advantageous.
Experience in leading a team of analysts.
Performing Data Mining & Analytics for generating insights and developing solutions, A/B Testing experiments.
Innovative and strong analytical and algorithmic problem solvers.
Extensive experience solving analytical problems using quantitative approaches
Expert at data visualisation and presentation.
Excellent stakeholder management skills
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Administration or a related quantitative field
