Job Description : About The Sahayak Trust (TST): The Sahayak Trust – Institute for Rural Educationwas established to provide support through education on low cost and sustainable technologies, particularly in the fields of health, agriculture, livelihoods and ecology to economically disadvantaged rural populations. It seeks to make relevant education accessible at the doorstep of people in need of it, helping them to use their own locally available resources. It does so largely through the training of partners who share its belief and are already working effectively in local communities. As a knowledge and training partner for a growing number of NGOs, TST has developed training modules and methodology to impart knowledge and skill on Organic Kitchen Gardens for Nutrition (OKGN) and capacitate partners to reach out to communities. For more details visit: www.sahayaktrust.orgKey ResponsibilitiesDevelop programme plan and partnerships, which includes, partner assessment to partnership management, annual plan for the programme, etcEngage with different NGOs, networks to get the agenda across, develop joint initiatives and facilitate programme expansion.Organize training of trainers and capacity building programmes for the partner organizations and other stakeholders.Ensure high-quality working relationship with partners and addressing issues promptlyConduct field visits regularly to provide support and execute the programme and manage field operations and ensure timely implementation of programme plans.Ensure proper documentation of events, experiences, case stories,etc.Prepare and provide appropriate inputs to programme reports/ MIS/ publications,etc.Any other task as assigned by the Director/ Senior Management from time to timeDesired Profile: Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in the social development sector and a PG degree in Agriculture/Social Work/ Rural Development/ Management from a reputed academic institution.Familiar with sustainable agriculture/ organic farming/ nutrition and health etc., will be an added advantage.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in ENGLISH AND HINDI IS A MUST.Willingness to travel extensively.How to apply: Interested candidates should submit their applications, along with a detailed resume with salary expectation and a covering note.
