Role Summary
The IMS Deployment Engineer is experienced in the deployment, testing and integration of network in an OpenStack Cloud/Network Function Virtualization environment. This a hands-on, technical role including deployment, trouble shooting and issue resolution. Indepth understanding of Telecom Protocols and technologies like SIP,SDP,H.248,MGCP,DIAMETER. It also requires good communication skills in working with internal and external vendor support groups
Key Responsibilities
Deploy and integrate Mavenir products for our global customers.
Perform software and hardware configuration changes related to Mavenir products in customer test Lab or live environments.
Create project-related documentation such as method of procedures, acceptance testing documentation, high and low level designs.
Job Requirements
Experience band:
3-10 years
Skills required:
1. Practical Knowledge in Testing 4G or 5G charging system (OCS/CCS)
2. Working knowledge on Automation framework
3. Experience with Automation Tools like JMeter, TestNG, robotframework.
4. Good Programming and Scripting Experience(Shell/python/Java/goLang) to support automating the test cases
5. Good Knowledge on CI/CD, integration of automation suite to Jenkins, execute nightly builds & daily regression
6. Understanding of Diameter protocol is preferred.
7. Good understanding of TCP/IP, HTTP/2, GRPC
8. Good Troubleshooting skills
9. Knowledge on Deployment aspects like Containers & Kubernetes
10. Good understanding of Agile SDLC methodology.
