Senior Developer
Requirements:
Experience building distributed systems with high performance, scalability, and reliability requirements
Hands-on experience with server-side RESTful API development experience in Java or Scala (on strong in Java and willing to learn Scala)
Experience with messaging system (Active MQ, Kafka, RabbitMQ)
Experience with ELK stack/Spark
Familiarity with modern front-end technologies including Javascript, CSS, HTML5
Hands-on experience with MongoDB or NoSQL database
Experience in support/configuring Linux servers
Experience in Docker / Kubernetes deployments
5-8 years of experience, strong written and verbal communication skills
Exposure in handling customer issues, willingness to participate in on-call rotations
Will be a plus:
Experience with micro-services architecture
Experience in common monitoring/metric software (DataDog, Prometheus)
Experience with cloud-native technologies and using cloud services (GCP, AWS)
Version Control Systems experience (Git preferred), knowledge of CI/CD and experience with Jenkins Pipelines
Experience in site reliability development
Understanding of TCP/IP and load balancing
Qualifications
B.S. in Computer Science or related disciplines
