Position :
Job Description : As part of the Business Analytics and Intelligence team, this person is responsible for Automation activities and user/production support for BI Tools such as Tableau and Alteryx. Should be well versed in automating various manual tasks and processes to create efficiencies via automation, possessing an engineering mindset, with knowledge around latest development methodologies. Analytical mind to spot ticket trends, ageing analysis and identify best practices to be implemented for support will be a plus. Solid exposure to programming via full stack python development is desired for this role.
Roles and Responsibilities:-
You will primarily be working on automating various manual processes for our BI Tools, also engaging on full scale application development as needed, working in an agile Methodology. You will be engaged in Fullstack Development using Vue javascript framework on the FrontEnd and a Django/Python on the Backend. You will be using Celery, and Celery Beat for managing tasks in the backend. We also use cloud Foundry and Jules.You will be working on both Frontend, and Backend pieces of a given feature.
Requirements :
Atleast 8+ years ‘experience in building and implementing BI solutions out of which Solid python programming experience of 3+ years is needed
Overall exposure in Full stack development
Django experience is a must.
Javascript experience is a must, and should have worked with Vue/React in the past.
Be able to Unit test Django/python and Javascript
Used MySQL, Maria, Postgress DB
Exposure towards User support/Production support on BI platform is needed as well
Nice to haves:
Celery experience
Jenkins experience
Cloud Foundry experience
Flask Experience
Java experience
Additionally
Familiar working within an agile SDLC environment, with full knowledge of JIRA and exposure to JIRA Service Desk
Exposure to handling support requests from users related to Alteryx, Tableau and understanding of integration between various BI Tools and their usage
Ensure proactive communication and collaboration with users, US BI team and other stakeholders DevOps experience a plus, Experience on CI/CD, Test Automation, Build-Release Engineering
Excellent communication skills is a must
