Job Description : Job Summary
As an Engineering Manager you will bring hands on technical skills as well as build and manage a team of talented engineers for our cloud management SaaS product. In your role, you will provide engineering leadership to build robust and effective software to solve complex customer challenges. You will play a critical role in defining and developing the engineering priorities for the team by partnering with Product management and other business stakeholders.
Job Duties:
Build and grow a team of talented engineers
Responsible for developing and delivering scalable, performant and maintainable solutions for CloudCheckr products
Collaborate closely with support, customer success, and product management to prioritize challenging customer problems
Partner with operations and quality teams to meet release readiness criteria
Provide hands on technical leadership to investigate customer issues, perform root cause analysis, and propose solutions in a timely manner
Drive technical and engineering priorities, actively identify risks, and resolve dependencies
Contribute to design, code base and operations that drive excellence and lead the team towards its goals
Hold regular 1:1s, provide constructive feedback, and help plan career growth with your direct reports
Participate in Agile ceremonies such as daily stand ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives

Education
Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar degree required, or equivalent industry experience
8+ years of software development experience in C#
1-3 years’ experience leading and managing a team of engineers
Experience working with Cloud providers -Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform
Experience hiring, mentoring, coaching engineering talent
Strong understanding of development best practices, continuous integration, source control, code reviews
Experience with Agile software development
Effective communication and collaboration skills
High attention to detail & accuracy while maintaining project timelines
Flexible and open-minded with a positive attitude
Excellent organizational & prioritization skills
