Introduction:
This role is to deliver the strategic Legal Technology programme of work, which is delivered in an Agile way.
The primary function of this role is to work as a Fullstack developer in the Pune Legal Technology team, working closely with other technical lead and architect to actively contribute to application development, maintenance and deliver requirements raised by the Legal business.
This role is part of the global Legal Technology team that includes delivery and support staff in London and Glasgow.

What will you be doing?
The primary function of this role is to deliver the functionality requested by the Legal function by closely working with the technical lead:
Rapidly learn applications in the Legal Technology environment
Come up with effort estimates for assigned work
Analyze the legal data to provide right insights to the business/users.
Create/modify reports or feeds for users/business/downstream.
Visualize the data and come out with relevant inputs.
Collaborate with testers to analyse defects, verify behaviour, and resolve issues.
Follow Agile development processes defined for Legal Technology team

What we’re looking for:
DevOps pipeline technologies, e.g. Jenkins, TeamCity, Maven, Gradle, Nolio, Nexus, Artifactory

RDBMS database platforms, e.g. Microsoft SQL Server, MariaDB, MySQL.
Development & Testing of complex A>I Graphs

Improve development productivity by designing reusable components and optimizing the ETLs

Develop and Manage the Technical Lineage in A>I Metadata Hub

Writing complex SQL for data processing and data analysis.

Understand concepts of Hadoop and tune A>I product accordingly

Troubleshoot any Ab Initio related problem/error

A>I GDE and other A>I products like MHUB, Express IT, Control Center, Query IT

Linux/Unix Shell scripting

DBMS and SQL

Database modelling concepts

Great communication and problem-solving skills, and a good team player

Skills that will help you in the role:
A degree in engineering, computer science or a quantitative discipline e.g. statistics, physics or mathematics preferred. Banking / finance or Legal experience advantageous but not a pre-requisite
Working knowledge of AbInitio graph development and deployment

DevOps pipeline technologies, e.g. GIT, Jenkins, TeamCity, Maven, Gradle, Nolio, Nexus

Experience in Database queries & performance
