Position Purpose
Support ISPL management teams in the understanding/monitoring of Business Lines’ cost, FSS, Operation department including headcount, expenses & allocation and providing of consolidated views to ISPL Management. Data are followed up in Actuals, Forecasts and Budgets.
All local reporting is performed in accordance with relevant and applicable instructions, requirements within the deadlines set forth, with complete audit trail to follow.
Responsibilities
Direct Responsibilities
Management Accounting & Control Functions
Run monthly and quarterly Cost and Headcount data in order to produce Business Lines reporting and Business review for senior management
Contribute to the budget process for the PS teams (Expenses, Headcount and Allocated costs) for ISPL scope
Monitor data inputs with local Finance teams so as to make sure there is an alignment with the global strategy and targets
Contribute to the implementation, maintenance and optimization of the tool dedicated to reports creation
Business partnering with ISPL managers on regular basis and contribute to adhoc requests
Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives and decision support
Working to synergies processes across departments and entities in India
Perform Trend and Variance Analysis of Financial Reports
Prepare presentations to Board of Directors and Senior Management Team
Contributing Responsibilities
Assist in identifying process improvements in production, control procedures, and workflow organization to increase the team’s efficiency and effectiveness
Participate in the upgrades / version releases of respective reporting tools, as well as system amendments / enhancements required to facilitate new / modified reporting requirements. In connection with this effort, assist in user acceptance testing and trouble-shooting after deployment.
Help document operational process improvements in production, control procedures, and workflow organization to support team’s efficiency and effectiveness initiatives. Also, assist in integrating and streamlining the reporting under the team’s responsibility.
Provide cross-training to colleagues and perform specific duties as assigned (e.g. coverage for colleagues)
Technical & Behavioral Competencies
Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (formulas, pivot tables, charts, and graphs)
At least 3 years of experience in accounting and management reporting
Working knowledge and understanding of Smartview / Essbase and MS Access desirable
Excellent PC skills; ability to learn new systems quickly
Good analytical skills and understanding of cost allocation methodologies
Knowledge of data manipulation tools using Alteryx and Tableau desirable
Knowledge of CIB Performance Management / accounting concepts, methodologies and rules
