Job Title: Data Storage Administrator
Role Description:
You will be Implementing, upgrading and maintaining primarily File services (NAS) infrastructure across organization, including the delivery and documentation of the ITSM processes like Capacity and availability management, Performance management, life-cycle management, patch and vulnerability management, Backup & Disaster recovery management/capability, Security and hardening, Audit & Compliance, etc.
Accountable for ensuring that appropriate design, planning, and operations implementation takes place for all new and existing services.
Alongside standard Storage administrator duties, this opportunity will see you recommend, innovative and where possible, automated approaches for infrastructure tasks. Lead the triage and resolution of escalated, complex incidents, problems, or capacity concerns!
As the company operates a 24×7 service, this role will require support out of office hours for emergency support, routine maintenance, as well as customer services opening hours.
Job Requirements:
Must be comfortable to work in Electronic City, Bangalore location
Minimum 4 years of overall experience as a Data Storage Administrator
Comprehensive knowledge of Network Attached storage (NAS) architecture and its hardware / software products.
Well versed with NetApp NAS filers (7 mode and cDOT) including replication and backup strategies (Snapvault, Snapmirror & Snapcenter)
Knowledge on file share platforms such as CTERA and Cloud object storage (Scality Ring)
Scripting/Automation skills using Ansible, hands on experience on open source analytics and visualization tools like Grafana
Experience on SAN storage arrays and switches is an advantage; primarily IBM SVC, FSxxxx, Purestorage and Brocade SAN directors
Comfortable to work in shifts
