As our Engineering Manager, you’ll support success by:
As an Engineering Manager, You will oversee new technology delivery, maintenance, and the future engineering roadmap for multiple sets of features / product areas. The Scrum Master, Engineering Manager role will partner closely with the Engineering and Product leadership teams for developing cutting edge solutions.
Manage the daily tasks of guiding a Scrum team. Interact with Stakeholders to understand Business and Functional requirements. Facilitate dissemination of requirements and acceptance criteria to the engineering team. Hold the appropriate Scrum/Agile meetings (backlog pruning, planning meetings, post-mortems, stand ups, Design, Automation reviews, etc.).
Responsibilities:
Builds highly talented, top-performing, efficient, autonomous engineering teams
Owns delivery responsibility with Quality and speed
Builds world class product working closely with UX designers and Architect
Drives engineering excellence and data driven organization
Develops people capability and enable organic growth through innovation
Contributes to larger engineering organizational initiatives and future direction of the product
Facilitates core scrum ceremonies
Tracks key performance metrics at the team level through Jira
Drives tactical team-level improvement for Scrum processes
Coordinates with product leads to drive alignment on sprint priorities
Drives improvements in release quality
Leverages burn-down charts and team velocity to drive delivery progress
Help resolve conflict(s), if any
Works with Product Owner in developing, maintaining and grooming Product Backlog
Able to identify, coach and mentor team members to become servant leaders of Agile programs and self-directed teams
What we appreciate about your background:
Requirements:
8+ years Scrum Master & Agile Project Management experience
Ability to manage technical projects from conception to completion
Should have experience with release coordination & project administration tasks
Experience using Agile PM software (Jira, Confluence, etc)
Preferred Qualities:
Undergraduate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field required, with graduate degree preferred
12+ years of overall experience in Application/Solution Development domain
5+ years of experience as Scrum Master
3+ years of experience as an Engineering Manager
Cloud, App and IOT development experience is mandatory
Experience with full product lifecycle
Experience with Atlassian suite: Jira, Confluence, etc
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
