Summary
SAP is becoming the end-to-end business transformation platform in the cloud and Customers will accelerate the shift of core application workloads to the cloud. To move our customer workloads and internal systems from legacy to public cloud- Azure, GCP and Converged cloud, we are looking for cloud infrastructure domain expert with extensive experience in cloud native services for multi availability zone deployments.
Role Description
As part of this role, you will:
Work closely with architects, software engineers and operations to design resilience into our SaaS production and recovery environments.
Responsible for the engineering of infrastructure improvements and architectures.
Drive standardization of resilience engineering best practices through the development of frameworks that leverage ITIL practices.
This role requires partnering with engineering teams across multiple functions to identify and implement infrastructure improvements to enhance service delivery.
Working across various teams to assist with implementing best practices for cloud infrastructure including considerations for a highly secure, scalable environments.
Assist with capacity planning and load testing of recovery environments.
Role Requirements
Bachelor’s in computer science with 12-16 years of relevant work experience.
Experience in deploying and managing HA/DR solutions in multi-availability zones across regions.
Extensive experience in building infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform, Chef, or Ansible and CI/CD tools preferably Jenkins.
Experience in scripting languages like Groovy, Python, Unix/Linux Shell Scripting.
Knowledge of cloud native storage services (ANF, CVS etc.) and replication technologies.
Strong troubleshooting experience specific to network connectivity, performance, storage, operating systems/compute optimization.
Azure or GCP certification will be a plus.
Excellent communication skills.
