Finance & Risk Shared Services (FRSS) supports Citi’s Finance function and is responsible for managing diverse finance processes such as Systems Operations, Operational Accounting and Balance Sheet Control, Financial & US Regulatory Reporting, Management Reporting, Treasury Reporting and Basel Operations. FRSS strives to reduce complexity by consolidating and re-engineering end-to-end finance processes globally through data, process and platform standardization. In partnership with Finance, it executes various process transformation initiatives to support Finance’s journey to become Best-in-Class Finance. FRSS provides service to a global customer base through its finance centers in Tampa, Costa Rica, Manila and Mumbai.

Job Description:
Position Title: Financial Analyst
Grade/Level: C10
Business Group: FRSS ChargeOuts – ICG Accounting
Function/Group: Finance & Risk Shared Services Mumbai
Department: Charge-Outs Mumbai
Location: NKP, Mumbai
Role:
Accretion calculations, interest and dividends, amortization, net money, etc. Reconciliation of Balance Sheet accounts
Inventory Control
Suspense
Open Trades
Research and resolution of any differences Intercompany Reporting Ensure SLA for the deliverables Manage stake holders in Controllers and FP&A groups and lead various calls Ensure all checks and reviews are followed Ensure seamless workflow Ensure controls in the process
Qualifications/Skills:
Strong financial accounting knowledge
Ability to work independently with limited direction
Excellent MS Office and analytical skills
Result Oriented
Ability to handle multiple tasks covering BAU and projects with aggressive deadlines
Strong inter-personal skills
Strong Problem solving ability
Minimum 3 years of experience
Preferred Chartered Accountant/Post Graduate
Knowledge of Citi systems preferred
Experience with accounting and customer reporting, customization, preferred
Experience within a delivery role
Time management skills are a must, as well as the ability to be flexible
Other Skills:
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proven ability to transfer knowledge and stay aware of current trends and technical advancements
Ability to articulate and present different points-of-views on various technologies
Time management skills are a must; as well as the ability to be flexible and creative
Education:
Bachelors Degree in Accounting/Finance with experience in an Accounting/Finance related position
