Your Opportunity

We are looking for a strong Senior Software Engineer who can drive design, architecture & delivery of our next generation platforms keeping scalability, robustness and security aspects in focus. The platforms you build will be used for eCommerce communications, Customer Care & Customer Engagement across multiple banners with each of them being a high revenue growth business for Walmart. You will be challenged with unparalleled complex business problems that spans across multiple implementations, large number of users and data.

Your Responsibility

Responsible for implementation of a variety of schedule-critical, development and production programs
Demonstrates up-to-date expertise in Software Engineering and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plan
Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity
Actively Participate in full software development lifecycle including planning, defining systems work scope, designing, coding, testing, implementing, and supporting infrastructure
Work on multiple project tasks and deliverables
Contribute in defining development guidelines and standards for optimal solutions
Contribute to enhancing the team’s best practices that increase quality, accuracy, and speed.
Troubleshoot and debug based on bugs reported
Coordinate with different API Content team and get timely solution for customer issues.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent degree
Experience in full-stack development including JavaScript and Java based technologies.

. Design and implement Front End Application using ReactJS and backend for front end using Node JS.
Design and implement REST APIs, Messaging, Caching, Batch and other core capabilities for Backend.
Experience working with multi-threaded programming in high performance, distributed environments.
Experience in SQL development (complex queries, stored procedures, and user defined functions) and performance tuning is required
4+ years of hands on experience in eCommerce Software development

. 4+ years of Excellent Front End Experience with proven experience including React, Node.js and advanced level knowledge of JavaScript with ES6, CSS, and HTML5
4+ years of excellent programming experience using Java, Messaging Queues (Kafka/RabbitMQ), Micro Services, Spring, Spring Boot, RDBMS, REST API & Web Services
Java performance tuning, memory management, debug heap dumps to identify memory leaks
Track record of deploying, supporting and debugging distributed services and app on VM and Kubernetes based clouds.
Demonstrable ability to deliver projects on time, with high quality
Able to effectively communicate across teams and roles
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proven ability as a problem-solver
Strong estimating and planning skills.
Experience working in fast paced internet/e-commerce companies

Good to have

3+ years working with UX teams to ensure great User Experience.
Experience with NoSQL DB’s like Mongo, Cassandra etc
