About the Role:
The Cloud Developer will be a key member of the Intelligent Automation (IA) team and will play an integral role in designing and delivering solutions using latest technologies. The incumbent will work with Process Design team, Process Adoption team and Business unit representatives to optimize and digitize operational processes to deliver bottom-line results for Citco.
About Intelligent Automation Team:
The Intelligent Automation (IA) is multi-skilled team charged with identifying, building and deploying operational solutions leveraging a suite of emerging technologies, such as Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, Robotics Process Automation, Business Process Management, Reconciliation Tools, APIs and Automation.
Job Duties in Brief:
You will participate in Scrum stand-up meetings, backlog grooming sessions, review, and retrospective meetings
Explore opportunities for optimization of existing data pipelines and re-designing of data infrastructure for greater scalability and performance.
Design, develop, test (automation), deploy and document cloud applications and solutions while adhering to best-in-class agile development practices.
Configure and manage DevOps pipelines.
Work with AWS Core Services such as: CloudFormation, EC2, ECS/ Docker, ELB, CodePipeline, CodeDeploy, CodeBuild, CodeCommit / Git, RDS, S3, CloudWatch, Lambda, IAM
Perform code reviews and provide feedback, following coding standards and best practices.
Maintain technical documentation and playbooks.
Participate in technology evaluations and play an active role in ongoing strategy based on technology trends, best practices and industry standards.

About You:
Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
Exceptional communications skills, both written and oral
Ability to work independently
Highly proficient in Python, Bash/Shell scripting
Experience using cloud infrastructure and services in AWS
Experience developing serverless applications
Experience working with and managing container development and deployment
Experience with CI/CD tools
Experience building and using APIs
Familiar with Event-Driven Microservices Architecture
Able to work with large volumes of structured and unstructured data
Assets:
Financial product knowledge and knowledge of Hedge Fund Administration
Understanding of agile project management
Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence
Experience using BI tools such as Tableau/Qlik/Power BI
Experience with Robotic Process Automation/NLP/ML
