Job Purpose
Finalization of Financial Statements of Vodafone Idea Limited and its subsidiaries.

Key Result Areas/Accountabilities
Analyse the standards, transactions and providing inputs for finalizing the necessary accounting guidelines
Business Partnering and Support
Financial Reporting & Compliance
Finalization of periodic financials (Monthly/Quarterly/Annual) under Ind AS Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and IFRS
Review of Quarterly financial results of Vodafone Idea Limited (Standalone and Consolidated) are in compliance of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (IND AS) and Listing agreements
Review and presentation of periodic financials and results
Review of Cash Flow statement on quarterly basis
Review of the required information to be provided to group companies.
Review of reconciliation of Profit /Net Assets, for Ind AS and IFRS.
Periodic reporting to promoter companies (as required)
Ensure standardization of accounting policies and practices across all the circles and business units.
Review of Chart of accounts and take appropriate action for any disconnects
Regular analysis of the changes in the reporting requirements, assess the changes impacting the company, its subsidiaries and its joint ventures / associates, appraise Top Management and implement changes in consultation with the Top Management.
Liaison with the statutory auditors to ensure smooth quarterly and annual audit of books.
Review and assessment of critical contracts from accounting and compliance perspective
Provide inputs and actively involved in ERP integration
Comparison of accounting polices / disclosures with peers in the Industry

Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience
In-depth knowledge of Consolidation and Reporting.
Knowledge of compliance requirements for listing agreements
Technical knowledge of Ind AS and International Financial Reporting Standard.
Knowledge of Companies act
Planning and Organizing skills that helps balance between often competing priorities
Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
Communication and presentation skills
Be a good people leader – managing Talent, enabling and supporting team members to maximize their capability

Must have technical / professional qualifications
Chartered Accountant
Good working knowledge of MS Office, SAP, Hyperion.

Years of Experience
Minimum Experience of 10 to 15 years in Financial Reporting
