Manages a team of Audit Professionals (“Auditors”) operationally, and ensures proper resource management for the various Audit engagements.
Supports the set up of engagement plans, and coordinates the respective resources needed in the team.
Contributes to proper Audit engagement execution, through taking over Audit administration and resource management.
Provides the infrastructure for efficient Audit engagement processes.
Liaises contoniously continuously with involved Audit Professionals and Audit Engagement Leaders.
Performs quality reviews of all Audit engagement reports and results, accomplished in the team assigned.
Leads an assigned qualified Audit teams operationally, and performs regular performance reviews.
May additionally lead Auditors in Audit engagement, as assigned Audit Engagement Manager
Total Experience : 13+ years
Lead and develop the Corporate Internal Audit function of the Group in India, applying best standards and optimizing Internal Audit function to achieve company’s strategy & objectives.
Participate in the risk assessment to identify main audit topics and propose the audit engagements to be included in the SGRE local risk based Annual Assurance plan (which shall include Global Audit Topics from Corporate, local audits, on-request audits) to be approved by SGRE Indian Audit Committee and/or SGRE Audit Committee.
Plan, supervise, report and follow-up the audit topics included in the local Annual Assurance plan in accordance with accepted IIA standards.
Ensure and coordinate participation of Indian Internal audit resources in Corporate Global Audit Topics requested by the Corporate Heads of IT, Finance, Operations and Compliance audits.
Develop and implement the quality standards defined in the Quality Assurance and Improvement Plan.
The ideal candidate brings at least 6 years as a manager within an External Audit International firm (Big 4).
Professional “Chartered Accountant” qualification with strong knowledge of both India GAAPS and IFRS.
Masters’ degree or related advanced degree in Finance / Audit is strongly preferred.
Strong English communication skills.
Advanced level in Excel, Word and Power Point.
Certified Internal Auditor certificate also preferred.

Strong relationship building and management skills.
