Informatica Admin
This role will be responsible for providing expert-level technical leadership for application and technology products supported by the Solutions Network. The position will be focused on supporting client projects as well as sales teams in the configuration, customization, and implementation of selected packages and applications for sales demonstration as well as client-based project implementations. In addition to hands-on technical work, this position will also require providing assistance to project teams with architecture design, developing documentation and creating client deliverables.
Work you’ll do Installing, configuring, administering, tuning, and troubleshooting BI/DW platforms in Virtual Windows and UNIX (AIX, Solaris, HPUX, and Linux) environment. Production level support for onsite and offshore teams during their development life cycle. Migrating applications from development/test environments to production including customization Active participation in infrastructure architecture, such as hardware sizing, effort estimation and security
Qualifications
Required: Bachelor’s Degree or 4 years equivalent professional experience. 3 to 5 years prior work experience in information technology, with a minimum of two year work experience with Informatica products. Strong Experience with at least one of the following packages: Informatica Power Center, Informatica MDM, Informatica B2B Data Transformation, Informatica B2B Data Exchange, Informatica PowerExchange An advanced degree/Certification in the area of specialization is preferred. Goal oriented with high standards for quality and performance. Excellent verbal and written communication skills a must. Bachelor’s degree in computer information systems, science, engineering or equivalent field. Prior consulting experience highly desired.
Preferred: Knowledge of Middleware packages (WebSphere, WebLogic, Web Methods or Tibco etc.) is a plus. DBA skills with at least one of the following are a plus: Oracle 10g, DB2 9.0 or SQL Server 2005.

Deloitte’s Solutions Network (SNET) is a global network that connects Deloitte’s solution centers, extended delivery centers, clients, and vendor partners. The primary focus of the SNET is to support client development projects, client pursuits, solution development, and practice development. The SNET does this by providing project teams with a hosted infrastructure that includes a large mix of hardware vendors, operating systems, and technical application expertise. The SNET also provides on-site technical architecture and application experts for Deloitte’s clients.
The Solution Network consists of experts with knowledge of all major packaged applications and technologies – PeopleSoft, Oracle, SAP, JD Edwards, Siebel, middleware, BI/DW, JAVA, .Net, networking, SAN, server virtualization, etc. SNET staff is also exposed to new and emerging technology, and in many cases serve as an R&D function for Deloitte.
Informatica Data Governance Architect Consultant Position Scope
The Consultant will be responsible for providing “jumpstart” intermediate or advanced level technical professional services for application and technology products supported by the Solutions Network. The position will be focused on supporting client projects as well as sales teams in the configuration, customization, and implementation of selected packages and applications design for sales demonstration as well as client-based project implementations using the Informatica technical stack. In addition to hands-on technical work, this position will also require aiding project teams with functional design, developing documentation and creating client deliverables.
The ideal candidate will have implementation and development experience with Informatica Data Governance tools in a consulting environment.
Qualifications
Competitive candidates for this role will possess the following:
2+ experience with Informatica EDC, IDQ, Axon Architecture and Implementation knowledge
EDC, IDQ and Axon product installation or admin experience is plus
Understanding of Data Governance best practices
2+ years of work experience with Informatica products, specifically with design, development, and deployment of IDQ, EDC & Axon Informatica products
2+ years of relevant data management consulting or industry experience (master data, metadata, data architecture, data governance, data quality, data modeling, data standards)
At least 6 months of Data Governance execution and/or operationalization experience
Experience in data profiling, data standardization and develop IDQ rules
Experience in creating data cataloging pipelines utilizing informatica EDC, AXON and IDQ
Experience in defining the roles and responsibilities for data governance stakeholders
Develop maintain and support application business glossary business intelligence data integration data modeling and database management resources in Informatica
Experience implementing AXON and EDC for creating business glossary and technical metadata along with data quality management in IDQ
Privacy and Security model Develop and maintain linkage between Informatica EDC and various source systems
Create data lineage custom data lineage system lineage in EDC and AXON provide ongoing support for metadata implementation testing and integration
Participate in development and implementation of enterprise metadata standards, processes, and guidelines for data governance projects
Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (ie: MS PowerPoint)
Working knowledge on public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP) is a plus
Experience in creating presentation for any POC and publish technical documentation
Innovative and creative person who has developed new approaches to developing infrastructure solutions
Goal oriented with high standards for quality and performance
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Prior consulting experience highly desired
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related technology discipline

3+ years of work experience with Business Intelligence/Data-warehousing products, specifically with installing, configuring, and administering Big Data products
Hands-on experience on any one of the Big Data Vendor products from Cloudera, Hortonworks, MapR etc.
Hands-on knowledge of Big Data technologies such as Hive, Hbase, Zookeeper, Spark, Storm, etc.
Hands-on experience on Hadoop 2.0 components like, Yarn and High availability
Hands-on experience in creating Clusters, HDFS backup and Migration
Hands-on experience with cluster upgrades, migrating applications and customization
Hands-on experience in Authentication/Authorization mechanism such as Kerberos and Sentry
