About the team
This position is responsible for the day-to-day, business-as-usual, support of the Unix server environments. This includes the installation, configuration, and maintenance of the Unix environments.
What you will be doing
Work with internal support functions and onsite teams in resolving / preventing issues / escalations
Should be supporting in 24×7 mode
Mentor staff to ensure all duties are performed in an accurate and timely manner.
Plans and maintains efficient operations by designing, implementing and evaluating level one operations process.
What you bring:
Linux Administration L2 skills & ITIL.
Advanced working knowledge and experience with Linux and Shell Scripting
Troubleshooting experience on Linux and VMware platform.
Familiar/aware of ITIL procedures.
Good communication and client handling skills
Added bonus if you have:
Knowledge of FIS’ products and services
Knowledge of Nagios Monitoring Tool
Knowledge of financial services industry
Knowledge of basic financial analysis principles and ratios
