Job Description : About Udayan Care-Udayan Care, a Public Charitable Trust has been working for the quality care of disadvantaged children and women and youth for over 27 years, with the endeavour of providing sustainable rehabilitation. The mission of “A nurturing home for every orphaned child; an opportunity for higher education for every girl and every adult; the dignity of self-reliance and the desire to give back to society”, is what drives its 200 employees and close to 900 volunteers to action.Udayan Care provides homes to orphaned children while also giving girls financial and development support to continue higher education, and communities to train themselves in vocations, by engaging socially committed individuals, who provide a transformative, nurturing and mentoring environment, to help them realize their full potential.Roles-The Marketing Manager will be required to undertake marketing and sales promotionactivities of all SDC Units. Presently, there are only two SDC Units at the following locations:(a) Greater Noida (U.P.)(b) Pauri (Uttarakhand)Qualifications and Requirement-Degree or diploma in Marketing or Advertising from a recognized institute.Experience of at least 5 years of working in the Marketing / Advertising /Sales Departmentof a business entity.Adequate proficiency in working on computers.Good written and oral communication skills in English and Hindi.Basic knowledge of Accounts.Willingness to travel to various places locally and out of station.Knowledge of all social media platforms and ability to use these platforms.Integrity in all matters and operations of SDC.Desire to go an extra mile to achieve the targets / goals of SDC.Compassion for the under reserved sections of Society.Concern for the environment.Responsibilties: A. Marketing – All forms of Marketing including : -1. Social Media, such asa. Marketing the courses offered by the Skill Centre as well marketing the Sukritiproductsb. Evolving new techniques for increasing the number of ‘hits’ on our sitesc. Posting on the social media sitesi. Write ups on Udayan Careii. Write ups on creators of productsiii. Placing photos with attractive copyiv. Special events2. Marketing weekly stall at local markets3. Marketing of our courses4. Marketing the work of SDC by writing draft reports for newsletters/donors/annual reportetc. and working closely with the SDC directors to finalise each reportB. Sukriti Website – design, update and maintenance1. Inventory feature of the site – we need to ensure that this is connected to our inventorysystem and automatically updated once a sale is confirmed2. Orders, Payment Portal, GST etc. for Sukriti products on website, Instagram and any otheroutlets3. Packaging and shipping of Sukriti products4. Returns and Feedback5.
