Job Description : The Front Office Manager is responsible for the supervision of the Hospitals Patient Registration areas, Inpatient and Outpatient, Patient Scheduling and the inbound calls at PBX / Toll Free Number. Duties include guidance and coverage for employees, monitoring of Quality Assurance measures, and oversight in on going staff training. The goal of this position is to ensure high quality service for patients and accuracy of information affecting both pre and post visit services. The person will be responsible for following duties –
Ensures the accuracy and completeness of daily registrationsLead billing and insurance department and ensure error free processResponsible for adequate staffing and overage in all Patient Access areasPrepares roaster of Front Office Executives for round the clock service. Ensures appropriate utilization of human resources during vacations, Illness or other events that may arise.Ensures a high level of quality service provided to patients.Help in recruitment and selection of required staff in the department.Manages the performances of the junior staffs.Monitors time taken in bill preparation and ensures that there is no delays in the discharge process.Responsible for staff development, including training, reviews of progress and communication of findingsMonitors all Patient Access processes generally and individual workers specifically to assure compliance with department policies & proceduresEnsures scheduling of appointment in a seamless way and keeping the patient up to date in case of any changesHelps patient in distress by responding to emergencyProtect patient rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial informationEnsures that all records of a discharged patient are sent to Medical Reports department.Generate Reports and insights from data and disseminate the same properly, at agreed interval.Any other duties as directed by the management.
