Role Responsibilities
Strategy
The role which requires to perform month end accounting, preparation and posting of journals into GL for management books.
Management Accounting and Reporting Delivery of various reporting containing Financial, and Management Information sourced from multiple systems / platforms

Business
Work constantly with the onshore team to resolve any highlighted issues along with owning control.
Ability to identify and report variances between financial reporting and management reporting.
Explaining the causes of difference to function head and assisting in communicating these to the Onshore partner.

Processes
This is a group finance role which requires to perform month end accounting, preparation and posting of journals into GL for management books.
Identify and report variances between financial reporting and management reporting.
Tracking and communicating difference’s and taking it to closure.

People and Talent
Preferably Chartered Accountant or MBA with 10+ years of relevant finance experience in financial or management reporting.
Strong stakeholder engagement skills and ability to work with cross cultural teams.

Risk Management
Coordinate with GFS teams to support external audits requirements and ensure relevant supporting documents are shared on timely manner.

Governance
Roll out relevant policies, procedures & standards to establish governance and ensuring compliance.

Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank.
