Job Description : · A minimum of3 to 4 years of software functional testing experience.· You have competency in working with web apps, HTTP, Restful APIs, XML, JSON, SQL and databases.· Deep understanding of how web apps & API work and their security fundamentals.· We are looking for you, an experienced energetic Test Engineer with a keen eye and ability to spot the minutest of defects.· You are a critical thinker and problem solver.· You will interact with a variety of stakeholders and participate in brainstorming sessions.· You have excellent communication skills.· You are able to translate the specifications into comprehensive test scenarios.· You are proficient with the tools of your trade.· You design detailed test plans and strategy and execute it.· You analyse the defects and provide insightful reports.· Understanding and experience in applying Software Development Lifecycle, Software Test Lifecycle, Severity, and Priority of Test-cases and Defects.· Ability to deal with abstract – sometimes ambiguous – requirements documentation.
