Job Description : The Applications Development Programmer Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities.
We are looking for an avid technologist who -applies analytical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies. Requires attention to detail when making judgments and recommendations based on the analysis of factual information.deals with most problems proactively and has some latitude to solve complex problems. Integrates in-depth specialty area knowledge with a solid grasp of industry standards and practices.applies professional judgment when interpreting data and results. Breaks down information in a systematic and communicable manner.with a developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to exchange potentially complex information.
Here is what you bring -You have 3-6 years of intensive experience in the analysis, design, development and support of large complex applications using Microsoft Technologies (.Net, .Net Core), Angular 2+ and MS SQL.You are proficient in the below primary skills:
C#, .Net, .Net Core .
ASP.Net MVC, ASP.Net Core Web API, Microservices and MS SQL Server
Angular 2+, jQuery, JavaScript
HTML 5, CSS 3, Bootstrap
AJAX, XML, Web ServicesYou have experience in designing Service oriented architectureYou have hands on experience with TeamCity, Sonar Cube, BitBucketYou are experienced in Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment methodologiesYou have a good Experience in trouble shooting issue and finding root causeYou have experience with Agile/Scrum methodologyYou have excellent verbal and written communications skills of specific business area for application developmentYou have working knowledge of program languagesYou consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication
On a typical day here is what you could do -You will provide technical and business support for users of Citi Applications. This includes providing quick resolutions to app issues, driving stability, efficiency and effectiveness improvements to help us and the business succeed.You will participate in application releases, from development, testing and deployment into production. Perform post release checkouts after application releases and infrastructure updates. Develop and maintain technical documentation.You will maintain application systems that have completed the development stage and are running in the daily operations of the firm.You will manage, maintain and support applications and their operating environments, focusing on stability, quality and functionality against service level expectations.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
