About this role
To Ensures adherence to accounting policies, Compliance & Governance framework. Challenges/ Questions any exceptions
Challenging/ questioning the inappropriate/ wrong charge to P&L
You’ll have the following responsibilities
Lead and Control the financial management (P&L and B/S) of complex contracts
Timely delivery of financial results for Contract with precise commentary on business performance
Build budget and forecast by connecting with stakeholders
Provide Business insight to key stakeholders to help manage performance of area against the planned / expected outcomes
Working with business on cost deep dives, B/S deep dives for respective contracts
Ensure Sox compliance and engagement with internal / external audit for seamless audit completion
Engagement with CDDs, BMs, BPs, CDSS.
Functional Knowledge
Understands the business objectives and how finance and personal role contributes to their delivery
Has awareness of the Contract Solution’s concepts, principles and techniques associated with financial impact and risks & opportunities on global level
Strong knowledge of accounting and financial standards
Ability to understand end to end complex processes and systems
Can directly work with Business teams to support Strategic objectives and Cost Transformation projects
Ability to understand the changing business requirements & deliver on change management
Client and Stakeholder Management
Strong stakeholder management required with BU finance teams (including regular interaction with BMs and CDDs)
Effective communication and influencing skill
Capability to narrate the Financial Performance to CDDs BMs, BPs, FCs and Operational teams
You’ll have the following skills & experience
Experience and Professional Qualifications
Typically degree level or equivalent
Fully qualified accountant / Further qualification to support specialism (.e.g. CIMA, ACCA, IIA, CISA, ACT, CTA, MCT, IR Society Certificate or equivalent) or exceptionally equivalent experience in lieu of qualification
Significant PQE
