Job Description : Position Description: – Candidates should aim to achieve the below mentioned items during their tenure in Optum: • Manage products throughout their entire lifecycle • Bring tangible insights from market and competition • Manage application product roadmap and ensure strategic alignment with the greater product vision • Own project deliverables by working closely with cross functional Data Science, Data Engineering and Project management teams • Be comfortable and confident to present to all levels within the enterprise • Research and build new applications or capabilities by applying advanced Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning (AI/ML) techniques to areas of manual document processing • Define Minimum Viable Product features needed for new capabilities, and draw on an agile mindset • Leverage Optum’s Cloud infrastructure to tackle previously unsolved problems across Fraud Waste and Abuse, Provider Operations, Provider Experience, Transaction Operations, Customer Engagement and Experience, Clinical Services etc. • Interaction with business stakeholders and engage in communications with business partners for all important functions associated with the project including data understanding, solution design and maintaining an effective ongoing client relationship
Required Qualifications: – o MBA in Healthcare Management, Public Health or any Healthcare related specialization or, M Pharm/MBBS/MD with analytical mindset, Master’s degree in mathematics or Statistics o Exposure to Python, R, Stata, Matlab, SPSS, or similar, with familiarity with SQL o Proficiency in Microsoft tools including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint o Knowledge of Data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI
o Application of Big Data knowledge for healthcare specific problems
o US healthcare industry overview and USFDA protocols o Good clinical practice for clinical trials (USFDA focus) o Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple priorities o The candidate must be motivated, inquisitive and able to readily take ownership of responsibilities
