Job Description : Job Title: PORTFOLIO MANAGER (NON DISCRETIONARY PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENT SERVICES)
Location – Mumbai
The Client Advisor assists the Senior Client Advisors with providing tailored, strategic, innovative advice/solutions to the Bank’s clients/prospective clients, delivering superior investment opportunities to the clients in line with the client’s objectives and personal needs. They will lead the due diligence, preparation of relevant client reports and assist in the implementation/execution of the transaction. They will partner with the Sales/Coverage and Origination teams, working closely with the Senior Client Advisors to provide holistic solutions to the Bank’s clients. Given the advisory nature of the roles, the Client Advisor will ensure that the advice provided is in ‘good faith’ and always in the best interests of the client and in adherence to all regulatory and compliance requirements.

Your key responsibilities
Primary responsibility under NDPMS is to create, maintain and manage client’s equity portfolios tracking in house equity model portfolio with the stated mandate of beating the benchmark.
Also should be responsible for contributing towards running and maintaining key equity advisory mandates of key large UHNI wealth clients and also provide equity advisory services to external investment providers.
Periodic portfolio reviews / meetings with NDPMS and advisory clients covering presentations, performance updates, investment research & market updates, day-to-day investment related information, investment ideas etc
Also should double up as a support for NDPMS client’s equity trade facilitation and ensure smooth trade facilitation
Secondary equity research which entails liaising with empanelled brokers to come up with stock ideas, vetting them internally and including them in model and client portfolios.
Primary equity research entailing stock picking, meeting company managements, understanding their business models and adding them in portfolios.
Responsibility for growth in both AUMs (both NDPMS and equity advisory) and revenues by going on joint calls with Relationship Managers (RMs) and converting prospects to clients and increasing the share of wallet from the existing ones.
Ensure adherence to Client & Products Suitability policy, regulatory standards and requirements, as well as all operating processes relating to front office
Your skills and experience
Minimum a qualified Chartered Accountant / MBA (Finance)
Preferably should be a CFA charter holder
Minimum 12 to 15 years
Has experience working in the equity markets mainly conducting equity research and fund management activity. Also should have working knowledge about order execution and management.
The candidate should be a seasoned professional having a related experience gained with preferably another asset / investment management company or a wealth management firm
Proficiency in Bloomberg, Reuters, Excel, PowerPoint and other research / data compilation tools
Knowledge of relevant regulations pertaining to PMS business
Leadership abilities High degree integrity with strong work ethic Ability to effectively manage multiple equity mandates of clients Demonstrate ability to work with a structured approach towards client’s portfolio construction and management Ability to maintain a cool head during volatile markets to manage the trade execution desk and also to manage client’s temperament Good client relationship management skills Good interpersonal and communication skills
