Job Description : PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Responsible to ensure the timely recognition of revenue and oversee the Accounts Receivable (AR) function. Providing timely support to Sales and Business finance team on the queries related to Revenue & Collection.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee the team with responsibility for the accuracy and completeness of all monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing procedures related to revenue and billing.

Review customer arrangements and contracts to conclude on the appropriate revenue recognition treatment as per Ind AS.

Assist in implementing, documenting, and maintaining an effective internal control environment as it relates to revenue recognition

Proactively identify process improvements and partner with the business team to implement changes necessary to improve efficiency and mitigate risk

Developing, monitoring, and enforcing policies, practices, and procedures related to all aspects of Accounts receivable function.

Ensuring on-time collection of money from the customer and working closely with the Sales team to reach the collection targets.

Managing the end-to-end accounting of small subsidiaries.

Value collaboration and be willing to take on ad-hoc requests.

Assist in the integration, mapping, and consolidation of subsidiaries and support future M&A initiatives as needed

Play a lead role in managing relationships with the auditors and provide support for quarterly reviews and annual audits.

Lead/mentor a team of 2 to 3 people.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Chartered Accountant with 2-5 years of post-qualification experience in Revenue & AR function.
