Job Description : We are looking for an able senior accountant to perform and coordinate accounting duties within our organisation well-versed in various accounting principles, laws and regulations. The senior accountant’s responsibilities include the following :1. Coordinating accounting functions2. Preparing financial analyses, reports and returns4. Maintaining and reconciling P & L balance sheet and general ledger accounts and stock statements5 Preparing direct and indirect tax returns including GST5. Co-ordinating with annual audit preparations.6. Contributing to the development of new or amended accounting systems, programs, and procedures.7. Performing other accounting duties and supporting reviewing work done by junior staff8. Collecting and verifying financial information9. Directing other employees and junior accountants10. Resolving financial problems, performing audits, and analyzing profit loss11. Research and resolve accounting and tax discrepancies12. Ensure vendor invoices and check requests are paid in accordance with authorization and approval policies and follow up on invoices not approved13 Working knowledge of Tally14 Ensuring appropriate systems and internal controls are implemented and maintained15 Closure of books on monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
