We are looking for a Sr. Accountant to join our world-class accounting team. The ideal candidate is someone that has strong accounting foundation and is diligent in their attention to detail. This role will have a significant amount of responsibility for our finance operations in India.

Reporting to the Senior Director of International Finance, this position is primarily responsible for maintaining the general ledger, preparing journal entries and reconciling accounts in accordance with both US GAAP and local financial reporting standards. Preparation of Financial Statements and collaborating closely with auditors will also be an important part of this role.
What you’ll own:
Prepare monthly journals for GL accounts across multiple entities (multi-currency) using Netsuite
Timely and accurate US GAAP general ledger accounting close
Prepare Balance Sheet reconciliations in Blackline
Provide support in the integration of companies acquired by the group;
Review and streamline processes and identify areas for potential improvement within the company
Ensure we maintain regular oversight of any potential risk and compliance issues within the region
Support the tax, payroll and legal departments
Partake in ad hoc projects as they arise
Experience you’ll need:
Experience working in an international environment is desired but not crucial
Experience with multi-currency transactions
Solid accounting and technical skills (IFRS, US GAAP, SOX)
Proficiency in Netsuite desired, not essential
Auditing experience is preferred
Excellent quantitative, analytical, and organizational skills.
Articulates ideas and conveys information effectively in both individual and group situations.
A flexible attitude with respect to work assignments and new learning.
Strong Microsoft office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Essential Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, along with relevant accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA)
3 year + PQE
