We are looking for talented, driven, self-starter individuals to join our Telco Systems Business unit engineering team. This role requires a demonstrated ability to develop solutions, test, and deliver to the Tier-1 Telco market for Dell’s telco products and solutions offerings.
About business unit and team
TSB creates products and solutions catering for the worldwide telecommunications market, which is exploding with new and exciting opportunities made possible by new developments such as 5G, Internet of Things, and virtualized radio access networks (RANs). The market consists of communication service providers, managed service providers, hosting companies, content delivery network companies, cloud service providers, and consumer/enterprise web-technology providers.
The ecosystem solution engineering team is responsible for partnering, creating and delivering telco solutions with ecosystem partners for telco customers. The team works closely with a world-class product and partner management team in defining and roadmapping the offerings. Together, we have a strong track record of creating unique value for Dell Technologies, with a robust and positive impact on its bottom line. The engineering team works closely with key service provider customers worldwide, which, taken together, represent about 70% of the market. Collaboratively, we create production-worthy offerings that are unique, cutting-edge, and shape this emerging market. What you’ll achieve as a Senior Manager, Software Engineering,Participate in long-range planning and development of operational goals and engineering specificationsContribute to the modification, development and implementation of company practices and policies that affect subordinate employeesCreate schedules and work plans and be accountable for managing a budgetProvide innovative solutions to complex problems and communicate progress toward project/program goalsLiaise with senior management to report on project and program milestones and to present project needs
Key Responsibilities
Lead a talented Software Engineering organization to deliver innovative, enterprise quality products built on a foundation of architectural and engineering excellence. Experience leading a strong SW solution development team with programming languages such as Python, Golang, Ansible and system programming skills.
Ability to handle multiple disciplines for the product including Quality, Validation, Automation and Solution teams besides SW Development. Experience with cloud technologies like Kubernetes, Containers, Microservices. Strong Software development process, product development lifecycle, agile development, Dev OPS CI/CD, packaging and release domain skills.
Extensive work experience on platform certification and onboarding of partners with 5G, RAN skills. Detail oriented, responsible for solving highly technical and complex problems for several programs and projects.
Passionate about the customer experience, providing a great experience for the users. Hire critical talent. manage, grow and enable talent in org.
Candidate will be responsible for managing the design, implementation, integration, debug, build, program schedule, validation and sustaining software applications targeting reuse, cloud enablement, simplification, and continuous quality improvements.

In depth knowledge & experience working with virtualization solutions like Vmware, Openstack, Kubernetes
Desirable Requirements
B.E./B. Tech/ MCA with at least 15+ years of experience or M.E./M. Tech in Computer Science with similar experience
Must be a strategic thinker, while maintaining data driven operational discipline and rigor in the 90 day cycle
Experience working within a matrix technology business, with proven expertise in engaging with a broad and diverse internal stakeholder base
