Job Description : This individual will join the IVR product QA team in Enterprise R&D. This team owns the testing of IVR products and components and is responsible to design and build manual and automated tests. The Senior QA Engineer will be responsible to automate new tests, execute automated tests, perform automated regression testing and provide test results to the product team. The Senior QA Engineer will build and execute tests for new features developed for the product. In this role, the Senior QA Engineer will work closely with development and business teams to understand testing requirements, design test scenarios, write and execute manual and automated test cases. The Senior QA Engineer will need to effectively coordinate with onshore team to achieve testing objectives.
Principal Duties and Responsilibilites:
Design and Setup CI/CD solutions
Collaborate with feature developers, product managers and QA Leads, participate in test plans reviews and automate integration and functional test cases
Review test cases from automation standpoint and provide meaningful feedback to reduce test execution time without compromising test coverage.
Development of testing tools for test automation & support.
Co-ordinate execution of automated testing and report status.
Improve stability of tests and test environment, implement best practices and actively look for process improvement opportunities
Requirements:
Education : Bachelor’s in Computer Science or similar degree
Minimum years of experience :5+ years
Required Skills:
Coding experience on Core Java or Python
GUI Automation testing
Automation testing for API
Experience with Cloud Native testing
Experience with Containerization and Orchestration technologies – Docker/Kubernetes
Experience with standard SCM tools – Git or Perforce or SVN
Experience with CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Development)
Experience with CI and Build tools like Jenkins or Bamboo, Maven or Gradle
Strong logical ability, algorithmic ability and analytical skills
Strong test planning and test design skills
Roles and Responsibilities:
