Job Description : Main responsibilities
Conceptualizing and formulating apps that are suitable for use on various types of Android devices
Translate designs and wireframes into high quality code
build, and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable code
Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application
Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
Education / Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or similar
Experience with Android Development using Both Kotlin & Java
Experience with OTT Streaming application is a definite plus
Technical Skills
Good knowledge of Android SDK, device APIs, and development tools, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes
Hands on with RESTful APIs & JSON to connect Android applications to back-end services
Good knowledge of Android design principles, patterns, and best practices
Strong knowledge of OOPS, Java & Kotlin
Strong coding and unit testing skills
Good Understanding of Android ecosystem and architecture
Familiarity with Android App automation testing frameworks like Appium
Good to have knowledge on Python, Jenkins
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
Good to have experience with Analytical engines and third party SDK integration
Good to have knowledge on players, DRM and video security
