Team and Position Summary:

Market Place: The Walmart Marketplace is a key part of e-commerce at Walmart. It is a gateway for Third-Party Sellers, to manage their operations, such as onboarding, catalogs, order fulfilment, global opportunities, and return & refund management.

We are responsible for providing the best-in-class marketplace experience for our sellers and customers through the design, development, and operations of highly scalable systems. We interact with multiple teams within the company to develop scalable, robust technical solutions.

Position Responsibilities:

Research, Define, and Execute front-end architecture changes, including but by no means limited to GraphQL, Server-Side React rendering, and Flow typing.
Build reusable React components with modular CSS, manage data on the client with Redux and GraphQL, and test everything with Jest.
Measure and resolve performance bottlenecks using tools like Chrome DevTools, Lighthouse, WebPagetest, or custom tooling.
Refactor or improve existing code. We’ve migrated most of our front-end to React. And we constantly find ways to improve all of our JavaScript code.
Work closely with our product, design, and UX teams to create unforgettable and intuitive experiences that make it effortless to connect different apps together.
Help put tools, processes, and documentation in place to improve our code quality.
Review code written by other team members or other teams.
Share what you know and learn one-on-one or with lightning talks to the group.
Give back to the community via open source and blog posts.

Position Requirements:

B.Tech. / B.E. / M.Tech. / M.S. in Computer Science or relevant discipline
10+ years of experience in design and development of highly-scalable applications development.
Extensive experience JavaScript. ReactJS, NodeJs
Thorough understanding of NodeJS and its core principles
Own code quality and experience in writing extensive unit tests
Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools
Proven ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and frameworks quickly
Ability to deliver in Agile method (SCRUM)
Excellent written communication and follow-up skills
Experience developing and consuming REST APIs / GraphQL
