Provide L1.5 support for team deliverables.
Participate Configuration, allocation, and management of centralized backup systems and other deployed backup solutions
Help create backup reporting, working on backup failures, help resolve backup bottlenecks.
Support working on backup technologies – Commvault, Veeam. Additionally Physical tape library, VTL etc.
Be able to take care of most of P3/P4 tasks and escalate high severity tickets, cases to next level. Participate in document the RCCA.
Participate in client interactions, over calls & emails and provide details and reasoning of the deliverables.
Requirements
Troubleshooting experience and ability to fulfill Backup L1.5 support
Good knowledge on Commvault. Veeam will be an add-on.
Experience with monitoring and performance tuning of various backup systems
Experience with capacity planning and storage allocation forecasting
Experience in Backup Operations management, backup systems, DR
Working knowledge of systems from major backup vendors and cloud services
Working knowledge of technical aspects of backup systems – including but not limited to installation, monitoring, troubleshooting
