Job Description : Local Unit & Position Description:
To provide support on GST reporting and compliance within India, Sri Lanka & Bangladesh region.
To work on preparation of any other indirect tax related compliances viz. STPI
To closely work with the external consultants on preparation GST refund and responses to tax authority queries
To collate the data for GST audit/assessment and to address the queries raised by tax auditors/authorities
To connect with the accounting teams of the respective entities, to provide data for posting of GST related accounting entries
To provide required data on the tax matters as part of statutory audit
Participate in various projects requiring inputs on indirect tax matters
Position Qualifications:

Required education and level:
A graduate/master’s in commerce
Experience on GST; Oracle and STPI knowledge would be added advantage
Length and type of experience required performing duties of the position:
3 – 6 years of tax experience in roles of progressively increasing responsibility.
Should enjoy problem solving, as well as analysis and appropriate resolution of technical tax issues.
Keen to learn global indirect tax compliances
Positive attitude towards people and work assignments, and collaborative work style.
Experience with handling litigation
Good excel and reporting skills

As part of the process we are looking for a Tax Consultant who will play a key role by supporting the Tax Team in smoothly running the tax function.
