Position :

Job Description : Ensure standards and quality are maintained across projects
Ensure app release and build processes are as robust as possible using automation
Address resourcing questions and guide recruitment needs for the team
Work with management and lead developers to set objectives for the team
Reporting on team issues and productivity
Ensure development, growth and retention of team members
Ensure the team has the technical resources to fulfil business requirements
Be the escalation point for technical leads and/or clients to resolve issues and to enable team to resolve issues
Manage rota requirements and leave approvals for teams
Take responsibility for team meeting SLAs
Ensure processes are appropriate and followed correctly and monitor the different development streams
Communicate with clients and internal management around issues

Qualifications and Experience:

Strong web development experience (5 years+)
Strong management experience (3 years+), planning, inter-personal and organizational skills
Experience of AEM preferred (Sitecore, Episerver/Optimizely, Contentful useful)
Experience of delivering Service management and relevant tools (eg JIRA, Confluence)
Experience of Site Reliability Engineering and / or ITIL principles is a bonus
Strong knowledge of relevant tools, methodologies and technology
Knowledge and experience of Continuous Integration tools (eg Jenkins, Bamboo)
Mobile development experience or knowledge is a bonus
Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
Passion for quality and attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills
