Nokia Network Automation team is seeking highly motivated Software Developers to develop cutting edge products in Software-Defined Networking, a new technology space that is revolutionizing the way networks are managed and controlled. What you will learn and contribute to
As a Software Developer on our team, you will be challenged! The successful candidate’s responsibilities will include:
Participating in the development and standardization of next-generation networking management applications.Working in a team-based Agile Environment; collaborate with Developers, Testers, and Product Management to refine requirements, develop and test our Carrier grade solutions.

Your skills and experience
Members of the NSP Design team are responsible for the development of features and solutions for the IP network management, from Feature Specifications to the delivery of software to the Quality Assurance team. Input to NSP feature development is derived from requirements specifications developed by the NSP Product Management team. Designers interact with product managers, QA team members, support teams and technical people within the router teams. We primarily use agile techniques for development. During test cycles, defects identified by the QA team are generally given to the designers responsible for the feature or functional area of the product for resolution.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
These positions require highly motivated and creative individuals. Working in IP Network Management as a member of the NSP Development team involves the following skills :-
Bachelor/Master’s degree in computer science/engineering.
6 -8 years’ experience in software development and design
Excellent Communication skills
Understanding of network management concepts and basic protocols (TCP/IP, SNMP, CLI, Netconf,YANG,NETCONF)
Object Oriented Design and Analysis
Javascript , HTML/CSS/BOOTSTRAP, JQuerry , ReactJS
Platforms (Linux, Windows)
Oracle Database
Understanding of IP Networking

DESIRABLE SKILLS:
– Experience in developing EMS/NMS products which manage telecommunication networks.
Knowledge of Linux internals and security aspects related to certificates, authentication mechanisms, etcKnowledge on Microservices, Docker/Kubernetes, Kafka, Zookeeper.Knowledge on network management concepts, protocols and modelling (e.g. SNMP, NetConf-Yang, RESTCONF)Knowledge on web development frame and technology JS/CSS/HTML5 and React Framework.
