Automotive engineering tool development using Eclipse Plugin technologies. Complete tooling architecture definition, use of open-source software, performance improvements. . Go to market, negotiation and product acquisitions, product development.

Qualification : BE in Information technology / Computer Science.

Total work experience : 8+ years expertise in Java & Eclipse technologies
Relevant work experience : 8+ years expertise in Java & Eclipse technologies
Work location : Bangalore
Required Skills :
Work experience in customization of features in Eclipse IDE, Eclipse RCP development, Workspace management.
Excellent knowledge in OSGi, data modelling. Implementation using OSGi adds an advantage.
Experience in different design patterns to meet performance.
Ensure the design and implementation results in a reusable software asset.
Design software service or application in alignment with architecture vision supporting adaptability and extension of modules.
Experience in Multi threads and process to obtain parallel execution to achieve higher performance in execution.
Experience in EMF.
Experience in Eclipse based framework, SWT, JFace, Plug-Ins, Views & Editors, and Extension points.
Should have skills to identify and implement performance improvement and tools automation.
Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
Identify, plan and mitigate technology risks in a timely manner
Understanding of User Experience. Experience in UI / Widget adaptation.
SCM (Source Control Management)
Knowledge on Tools development, Auto code generation and Reports is an advantage.
Experience working within Agile/Scrum software development framework.
Should be very strong in oops concepts and software development process.
Working knowledge in Windows, Linux.
