Our client is a real estate development and leasing firm based in Boston, MA. They are one of the fastest-growing companies in the industry. The company offers services including site selection, property acquisition and management, permitting, project management, leasing, finances, and marketing. They provide services in areas such as shopping and retail centers, power centers, and urban mixed-use projects.
Due to growth, they are looking for a Property Accountant to join their team of experts. You will handle the financial aspect of private, commercial, and industrial real estate sales, rentals, and purchases.

Property Accountant Responsibilities:They prepare monthly and quarterly closes for buildings and propertiesReview accounts payable vouchers for maintenance/repair costsComplete general ledger entries and manage cash balancesReviewing account records such as credit memos, non-recurring tenant billings, and cash receipts to ensure accurate accountsReconciles bank accounts; make necessary adjustments on timeGenerates online packages for annual auditsPerforms audits and analyses required by Controller with minimum oversight
Property Accountant Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting2-4 years related experienceProficient with property management/accounting software, Yardi preferredExcellent organizational, communication, and time management skillsExperienced in Microsoft Office applications
