Job Description : Buffalo Biodiesel Inc. has been in business for 17 years. We currently service over 18,000 locations in 12 States. We are looking for honest and hard-working, career-minded people.We are looking for a skilled Accountant/Bookkeeper to record day-to-day transactions including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments. Candidate will work closely with our Accounting team to assist accounting firm with monthly, quarterly, annual reporting and audit. Must be proficient with QuickBooks Online software.Specific duties include:Record day-to-day financial transactions including:Review, reconciliation, posting and payment of vendor invoices;Invoice and collection of receipts, and posting for sales;Review and posting of credit card charges for employee credit cards;Review supplier accounts, prepare payment report, if necessary and prepare payment via check;Post weekly payroll transactions;Communication, including telephone, email or text with company employees, suppliers, vendors, and customers.Monthly financial transactions including:Reconciliation of bank accounts;Reconciliation of credit card statements;Reconciliation of asset and liability accounts; and,Post adjusting journal entries, as needed.Other tasks, as assigned by Director of Administration.The ideal candidate shall have:Ten+ years of experienceExcellent computer skills including Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks Online.Attention to detail and follow-up skills.Strong analytic skills.A drug free lifestyle.Apply in confidence by email or fax to 800-986-0919Job Type: Full-timePay: $25.00 – $30.00 per hourBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insurancePhysical Setting:OfficeSchedule:Monday to FridayJob Type: Full-timePay: $25.00 – $30.00 per hourBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insuranceVision insuranceSchedule:Monday to FridayCOVID-19 considerations:Buffalo Biodiesel follows all Covid-19 guidelines.Ability to commute/relocate:Buffalo, NY 14217: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)Education:Associate (Preferred)Experience:Accounting: 10 years (Preferred)Work Location: One location
