This position reports to the Controller Co-Invest & Carry. As a critical member of the Co-Investment Team, you will be responsible for the financial matters related to a variety of our management companies.Role Responsibilities:Perform month-end closing activities such as preparing and reviewing reconciliations and journal entriesMaintain account receivable files and recordsDevelop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controlsAssess the impact of new pronouncements on our existing policies and help implement necessary changesParticipate in the ongoing development/establishment of co-investment policies and proceduresCoordinate and prepare relevant audit requestsSpecial projects and Ad-Hoc requestsRequirements & Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field3+ years of experienceIn-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)Preferred experience with Workday or similar ERP systemsMust have excellent proficiency in ExcelMust have strong analytical skillsStrong technical accounting skills and familiarity with accounting research toolsAbility to earn trust and confidence of business partners, positive attitude, strong leadership, communication, and organizational skillsMust be proactive in an ever-changing environmentJob Type: Full-timePay: $55,000.00 – $65,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceDisability insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offPhysical Setting:OfficeSchedule:Monday to FridaySupplemental Pay:Bonus payAbility to commute/relocate:Coral Gables, FL 33134: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)Education:Bachelor’s (Required)Experience:GAAP: 1 year (Preferred)accounting or related: 3 years (Required)License/Certification:CPA (Preferred)Work Location: One location
