Job Description : Job Responsibilities: Maintain records of financial transactions by establishing accounts, posting transactions, processing and paying A/P, tracking and reporting all A/R, processing and issuing invoices and associated releases, and producing financial reports with projections.Job Duties: Maintain pre-construction and construction budgetsCoordinate subcontractor/vendor requisitions and disbursementsPrepare multiple month-end billings and construction drawsManage all aspects of job cost reporting and analysisComply with Davis Bacon Reporting RequirementsPrepare monthly financial statements, reviewed jobs in the process, and update progress reports for field managersSkills and Qualifications: Four-year accounting degree and a minimum of 5 years’ real estate construction/job cost accounting experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experienceQuickBooks experience is a plus, but not requiredAbility to read, analyze, and interpret relevant corporate policies, management agreements, customer service contracts, and general contracts for termsAbility to read and interpret construction contracts, lien releases, and other pertinent construction documentsAbility to respond to common inquiries and/or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, members of the business community, peer professionals, and managementKnowledge of construction cost accounting and general accountingAbility to analyze and interpret accounting data and perform quantitative analysesAppropriate skills with MS Office, specifically the ability to structure and apply Microsoft Excel solutions that require pivot and lookup features as well as charts and graphsTo Apply: If you are interested in joining our fast-paced, dynamic office and are looking to take a lead role in a diverse management team, please reply with a current resume, three (3) references, salary history, and a cover letter.We are an equal opportunity employer and encourage all qualified candidates to apply.
