Job Description : Here at RealPage Investment Management™ we address both the front and back office of real estate institutional investors and managers with integrated software products and services that include asset and portfolio management, financial modeling, information management, investment accounting, investor management and reporting, and market data and benchmarking.We are a global organization with offices in Texas, North Carolina, New York, Boston, London, Medellin, and more.As an Accounting Specialist you will keep accurate records of both accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensure that invoices are paid where necessary, and that clients pay invoices as required. This position reports to the Accounting Manager for the Investment Management business unit.Responsibilities may vary over time and include, but are not limited to:Analyze accounts payable and accounts receivable functions for the business unit.Speak with vendors and suppliers to ensure charges are accurate and that payments are received in a timely manner.Maintain communication with clients to ensure timely payments and/or negotiate outstanding account balancesPrepare credit memos, check requests, and write-offs for approval of credit management.Assisting in daily, monthly, and annual activities, including generating financial reports, assisting with audits, resolving discrepancies, and contract support.REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES0-1 year of experience in accounts receivable and accounts payableBachelor’s degree in either accounting, finance, or business administrationProven organizational skills and the ability to maintain precise records with confidentialityCurrent familiarity accounting software.
