Job Description : Our ideal applicants for the Accountant II position will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in general accounting roles. Additional work experience in financial analysis and heathcare industry is preferred. This position requires the ability to performs a wide variety of accounting related tasks. This includes but is not limited to: analysis, reconciliation, ensuring the accuracy of assigned areas, multiple audits, as well as providing guidance and leadership to lower level accounting staff.ResponsibilitiesCommunicates effectively with both internal and external customersConducts in-depth analysis, reviews and audits of areas (such as payroll, A/P, Grant, etc.).Identify then correct errors, misstatements, or missing transactionsMaintains documentation in order to resolve identified issues promptlyGuides lower level staff, liaisons and external customers on issue resolutionCoordinates internal and external auditsGathers and compiles data from a variety of sources.Prepares, distributes, and maintains a variety of periodic and ad-hoc reportsFollows all federal, state and internal standardsPerforms other duties as assignedRequirements**5 years of Accounting experience requiredHealthcare experience strongly preferredBachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required or equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the skills, knowledge and ability to perform the essential job dutiesRewards: Job type: Regular Full TimeCompetitive Salary: $65,000-$80,000 annuallyExcellent Benefits (See below link)Retirement Plan with Generous Employer MatchPaid Time Off, Extended Sick Leave and Paid HolidaysMedical/Dental/Vision/FSA/Life InsuranceHome down payment and student loan forgivenessEmployee Discounts, Wellness Programs and Other BenefitsHealthcare plans for full families range from $47-$310 no matter how many dependents are on the plan.
