Job Description : Japanese company in East Los Angeles, CA (Commerce Area) is looking for Accountant.Company: Confidential, JapaneseLocation: East Los Angeles, CATitle: AccountantPay: 60-70K/yearLanguage: English (Japanese is a plus)Status: Full time, exemptJob Summary:Provide financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data, preparing reports.Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.Prepare various reports and work papers every quarter for external auditors.Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents.Document financial transactions by entering account information.Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.Summarize current financial status by collecting information, preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.Check accuracy of figures, calculations and posting pertaining to transactions recorded by branchesPrepare and file government reports (sales & used tax, property tax, unclaimed property, corporate income tax)Other accountants’ duties as required to support on-going business needs and cross-training initiativesGuide accounting clerks by coordinating activities and answering questions.Initiate and manage financial and accounting software used by the company.Complete special projects as assignedQualifications:College graduate and accounting major required+5 years’ experience in the related accounting workExcellent Microsoft Office computer skills requiredAbility to maintain confidentiality of sensitive informationCritical and analytical thinking skills requiredJob Type: Full-timePay: $60,000.00 – $70,000.00 per yearSchedule:Monday to FridayAbility to commute/relocate:Los Angeles, CA 90040: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)Education:Bachelor’s (Required)Experience:Accounting: 5 years (Preferred)Language:Japanese (Preferred)Work Location: One location
