Job Description : AccountantWe are looking for a detail-oriented accountant to perform and coordinate accounting duties within our organization. The accountant’s responsibilities include preparing financial reports, performing account reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger, assisting with audit preparations, and performing other accounting duties as assigned.To be successful as an accountant, you should have a solid working knowledge of basic accounting principles. An outstanding accountant should also possess strong Excel skills, be detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to work with little to no supervision and perform under pressure.Audacious is an acquisition group based in Las Vegas, NV and focused on the Cannabis market. Our parent (Australis Capital Management) is a publicly traded Canadian company and listed on the Canadian Stock Exchange. We currently report using IFRS but experience with GAAP is also fine.Accountant Responsibilities: Coordinating accounting functions and programs.Preparing financial analyses and reports.Maintaining and reconciling balance sheet and general ledger accounts.Assisting with annual audit preparations.Investigating and resolving audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of non-compliance.Contributing to the development of new or amended accounting systems, programs, and procedures.Performing other accounting duties and supporting junior staff as required or assigned.Job Type: Full-timePay: $45,000.00 – $50,000.00 per yearBenefits:Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insurancePhysical Setting:OfficeSchedule:Monday to FridayEducation:Bachelor’s (Preferred)Experience:GAAP: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: One location
